Located between 1300 metres and 3230 metres above sea level, 85% of the ski area lies above 1800 metres, and no less than 25 peaks can be reached by ski lift. Open from the beginning of November, the ski area of the 3 Valleys offers more than 1,500 hectares of slopesmaintained throughout the season. No less than 160 ski lifts will bring you to the departure end of almost 340 downhill ski runs. Although many of these slopes and runs are rather technical in terms of their narrowness and height difference, beginners and families will find something to do during their stay with the runs labelled "Easy Rider", which offer wide and gentle slopes, so that they can enjoy the pleasures of skiing in a relaxed atmosphere.

Note how fairly are divided the slopes: 50% of them are blue and green, and the other 50% are red and black. What a highly democratic ski area!
